Where to start. Overall a fantastic location, the property is clean and well situated. Hana was truly a gem, super helpful and nice. The view from the room was too good to be true. The room was equipped with everything you may need, they thought of every little detail. Spectacular beaches AND the Picos de Europa are nearby. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would return again. Thank you Hana for everything! 🙂
The view! Amazing! The ladies that run La Casa del pintor are lovely, super helpful. The apartment is superb has everything that you may need if you are self catering. Fantastic shower and the Internet works well.
Very friendly and clean hotel right in the heart of this very pretty fishing village.
Incredible views of the sea and village from our apartment – we sat for hours watching the world go by with a glass of red wine!!
Everything. The room had the most incredible view of Cudillero and the sea. The room was immaculately clean and very comfortable. Best of all, our host was unendingly generous and helpful. The only reason not to stay at Casa del Pintor is if it’s completely booked…and even then we would suggest postponing your trip until you can stay here.
The personnel was so friendly and helpful. They met us in the port, took us to the hotel, carried or massive suitcases…. 5STAR!!!!! SERIOUSLY, THIS IS THE PLACE TO STAY IN CUDILLERO. the postcard views are from the rooms, so if you want to wake up to that, this is the place for you.
My wife & I were looking for a short break to experience the real Spain, away from the main tourist areas. Cudillero is an attractive, unspoiled fishing village and you can enjoy it’s full beauty right from your bedroom window at Casa Del Pintor. The room was very inviting and the owners went out of their way to be helpful and friendly.
Cudillero (Asturian: Cuideiru) is a small fishing port in the Principality of Asturias, Spain - famous for being one of the most beautiful villages along the northern coast. These days, Cudillero's main economic activities are related to tourism, but it is also known for its harbour and fishing ships. A legend says that it was founded by the Vikings. People from Cudillero speak a Spanish dialect called Pixueto.
